Jean Marie Calvo is a fourth year dental student at the University of California of San Francisco School of Dentistry. She has received a bachelor in Economics and Natural Science from the University of Southern California and Masters in Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, in the Health and Social Behavior track with a concentration Public Health Leadership.
Jean completed an Albert Schweitzer Fellowship in 2014-15 and a Zuckerman Fellowship at the Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government in 2015-16. She is also a Jack Bresch Legislative Intern with the American Dental Education Association Advocacy and Governmental Relations Group for 2016-17. She serves on the Council of Publications with American Association of Public Health Dentistry.
She has been interested in public health and the integration of oral health into primary care since the beginning of her dental education. Jean was instrumental in the initiation of the creation of the UCSF School of Medicine module on oral health and is devoted to the promotion of oral health for underserved populations.
Jungsoo Kim -B.S.
JungSoo Kim is a dental student at the UCSF School of Dentistry, expected to receive her D.D.S. degree in 2019. In the Oral Health Alliance group, Ms. Kim is responsible for organizing its first annual Symposium and for outcome assessments in its projects. Prior to dental school, Ms. Kim worked as a Junior Professional Associate for four years at the World Bank in Washington, DC. Ms. Kim received her B.S. with high honors in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2011.
