Sierra Family has an opportunity for a full-time Staff Dentist to join our non-profit community clinic
Fast paced family practice clinic offering dental services by providing convenient access to high quality, compassionate care. Our facility is located 15 miles outside downtown Nevada City, near the North San Juan Ridge.
Job Qualifications
Education/Qualifications
• Graduate of accredited U.S. Dental School
• Current California State License to practice Dentistry
• Current DEA License
• Current CPR and Radiation License
Duties/Responsibilities
• Provide routine dental services such as restorative and preventive procedures, crown and bridge,
removable prosthesis, endodontics, and oral surgery
• Oversee dental assistants in the care of patients
• Keep Dental Office Manager and Clinic Director abreast of current activities, situations, accomplishments, etc. in the Dental Department
• Assist in development of dental policies and assist the Clinic in their implementations
• Maintain clear channels of communications with all dental staff and supervisors
• Seek continued education in order to maintain current CPR, Narcotic & CA State License requirements
• Keep current with new techniques and philosophies related to all aspects of dental field
• Attend Dental All Staff meetings as schedule allows
• Applying personal protection per OSHA guidelines as it pertains to personal safety (i.e. protective clothing, eye wear, gloves)
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations, as they pertain to position including; HIPAA, sexual harassment, Scope of Practice, OSHA, and Clinic's Policies & Procedures
• Other duties as assigned by Dental Office Manager or Clinic Director
